Cleaning and Filling Instructions

You will need:  Serenity Case, Pipe,  Lighter,  Pick/Driver,  Screens, Ball Bearings

  1. Cleaning the pipe and bowl is important to ensure fresh clean hit every time.

    • To clean the pipe, place a ball bearing in the end of the pipe tube. Use the pick to push the ball bearing until it contacts the screen. Turn the pipe vertical with the pick against a hard surface and apply force to the bowl end of the pipe forcing the ball bearing to enter the bowl. Use the pick to remove the screen and ball bearing. Install a new or cleaned screen using the pick's brass end to seat it into the bowl cavity.

    • Note: Screens and ball bearings may be reused.

  2. Filling the lighter with butane.

    • We recommend American Fuel Zippo Butane 2.5oz red and white cans

    • Using the pick or a small screwdriver, purge the fuel tank by pressing the valve fill pin located at the bottom of the lighter a couple of times. You should hear a hiss as you press the valve inward. No hiss, the tank is empty.

    • Using the pick, close the fuel valve turning it clockwise.

    • Set the lighter on a flat surface with the fuel valve up. Hold the fuel tank vertical and press the filler tube into the fuel valve on the lighter.

    • Give the lighter five 3-second bursts. Note: If you have fuel blowout, the fill can is not properly aligned with the lighter.

    • Once full, turn the fuel valve a ½ turn counterclockwise with your pick to set the flame. Test and adjust the flame to your liking by carefully opening or closing the fuel valve with your pick.
